O-Week Orientation session - What is Philosophy?

Dr Christian Barry, Head of the School of Philosophy and Director of the Centre for Moral, Social, and Political Theory, will address students who are considering studying philosophy, or who are about to embark on studies in the discipline. Dr Barry’s research focuses on ethical theory, philosophy of action, and international justice. He will provide an introduction to the discipline of philosophy.

This session is for any student interested in finding out more about the discipline of philosophy, how it is taught at the ANU, and the courses and programs we offer.
